This single storey house was located on an extremely constrained land parcel within the Kurraba Point Heritage Conservation Area. 

A detailed analysis of the historic architectural history of the HCA concluded that the specific streetscape was of considerably less sensitivity than the bulk of the area. 

Working in close collaboration with Koichi Takada Architects, a solution was identified that enabled the Court to grant development approval for an additional floor level as part of a dynamic new roof composition.
