Graded significance documentation

In addition to the Evolutionary drawings, GBA Heritage recommends that the architectural drawing set includes a graded significance diagram that is usually contained in the Statement of Heritage Impact.  Essentially, the graded heritage significance of aspects or spaces within a building or site equates to their capacity to absorb change.  Change should always be directed to components of lesser significance or sensitivity.

This information within the DA set will also facilitate an understanding of the degree of heritage impact or enhancement that is contained with the project.
