Nominated Heritage Consultant
Many development approvals for historic building projects, issued by State and Local Government, contain a condition of consent requiring the on-going engagement by the Heritage Consultant throughout the design development, documentation and construction phases. In our experience, this continuing role is greatly appreciated by the architects and project managers. At the end of the construction phase, the Nominated Heritage Consultant is often required to verify that the completed works have been undertaken in a manner that has achieved the heritage intent of the project approval, as well as provide a summary report of the works.
