Established in 1996

71 York Street, Sydney

One of a series of Victorian warehouses that still define the historic urban character of York, Clarence and Kent Streets in the western CBD, this building had been upgraded and converted to office space in the 1980s.

When the HFS scheme was introduced by the City of Sydney, the long term owners decided to take advantage of a proposed upgrade for the physical asset, including code compliance, to capture the available HFS potential to improve its investment value.

GBA prepared the required Conservation Management Plan, including specialist services, code compliance and building condition surveys.

The DA approved works schedule was completed and the HFS award granted to the property owners.
